DDClip Video Features

Important: Please read the table with differences between packages of DDClip

Up to 2 video tracks with unlimited number of video clips
Simple non-linear editing without video effects (cut edges, no transitions, crossfades etc.)
Fast and efficient editing (no rendering, generating preview etc.)
AVI files are supported for editing, playback and saving (you must have appropriate Video for Windows-compatible video codec for compression and decompression of video compression format being used)
Support of extended AVI files with size greater than 2 Gigabyte. Important:
- Please note that FAT16/32 filesystems do not allow working with files of size greater than 2 GByte (FAT16) or 4 GByte (FAT32).
  Large files are supported only on NTFS filesystem under Windows NT/2000/XP!
- Extended AVI file format specification is described in the document OpenDML AVI File Format Extensions published in 1996 by the OpenDML File Format Workgroup. The document is in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open it.
Quicktime files (MOV and QT) are partially supported (compressed with Indeo and Cinepak codecs only)
Video for Windows-compatible hardware video playback devices are supported (some video hardware is compatible with Microsoft DirectShow only, such devices are not supported by DDClip; please contact hardware's manufacturer to know is it fully compatible with Video for Windows standard or not)
