Differences between DDClip Free 2.23 and DDClip 3.xDDClip Free 2.23 is the most restricted package of DDClip with minimal set of features. You can see the list of differences between DDClip Free 2.23 package and DDClip 3.x in the table. How to install DDClip Free 2.23Important: you might not be able to install DDClip 2.23 on very large capacity hard disk drives (however, there are no problems with any DDClip 3.x version). Please read notes at the end of this page for more details before downloading DDClip Free 2.23!
After successful installation of DDClip Free 2.23 you can run it from its folder in the system "Start" menu. If you want to get the latest version of DDClip, please download and register current version of DDClip 3.x. DDClip Free 2.23 under Windows 2000/XPThere is a known problem with DDClip 2.23 setup program under Windows 2000/XP. You won't be able to install DDClip Free 2.23 under Windows 2000/XP to a logical drive on your hard disk
(for example "C:", "D:" etc.) that is very large (typically with free space over 2 Gb) - you will get an error message "Invalid destination drive". Setup program for DDClip 3.x was created with the use of InstallShield and InnoSetup, they work well under Windows 2000/XP, so you can install DDClip 3.x on any logical drive with any size under Windows 2000/XP. Development of DDClip Free 2.23 has been discontinued, so won't fix this problem with its installer. |
