Export Audio and Video Options
Starting from version 3.5 you can select any ACM audio and Video for Windows-compatible
video codec installed in your system when saving the result of your work to and
external WAV or AVI file. Select File/Export menu, press Options button in Save File
dialog before saving resulting file, select Audio or Video tab and configure desired codec
in the Compression group.
New! Now you can save audio and video recompression parameters to named presets
for quick restoring them later.
You can resample audio to other sample rate and hear the result of resampling
immediately using Preview button (note that your soundcard must support
selected sample rate for playback). Very fast and high-quality resampling
algorithm is used, it produces almost no distortions for most sample rates
even when resampling 24-bit audio in real time.
You can also compress audio after resampling (or without resampling)
using any ACM audio codec installed in your system. For example,
you can compress audio to mp3 if you have appropriate audio codec.
Press Select button to call standard system audio compression format
dialog to select and configure desired ACM audio codec.
You can crop video frame edges (use Crop group), resize it (use Scale group)
and recompress resulting video using any Video for Windows-compatible codec
installed in your system. Resizing can be performed by separate fields, it allows
you to resize video that is used for playback on external TV monitor. You can also
deinterlace video with fields for playback on PC monitor.
You can also specify different audio/video interleaving values for resulting AVI file. It can help you
to resolve different problems with playback of AVI files using different playback/video editing software.
